atrophic gastritis....

atrophic gastritis is defined as chronic inflammation....  meaning inflammation that has been hanging around awhile....  and thinning of the stomach lining....

yes....  eye have atrophic gastritis....  undiagnosed....  untreated....  h pylori....  will do that to a person....  untreated h pylori leads to atrophic gastritis....

so....  rather than bitch about it.....  rather than bitch about the doctor....  who found out that eye had h pylori ten years ago....  and did not tell me....  rather than bitch about it....  lets figure out what eye am going to do about it....

step one....  is to kill the h pylori....  the cause of the atrophic gastris....  eye have NOT killed off the h pylori entirely yet....  but eye have greatly reduced its concentrations....  look at the chapter on h pylori....  to see how significantly eye have reduced its concentrations in my body....  eye will continue to fight it until it is all gone....  eye think that is ok....  my current thinking is that h pylori provides NO significant benefit for the human body....

 the next step is to figure out how to reduce the inflammation....  eye am taking turmeric....  eye have been taking turmeric for several months....  to fight inflammation throughout my body....  eye am taking other supplements for inflammation....  eye just do not remember what they are....  eye will list them....  eye will add them....  once eye figure out what they are....

now....  eye am focusing on coating the stomach....  to help reduce the inflammation....  eye am taking aloe vera and marshmallow for these purposes....  dgl licorice is also supposed to help with stomach inflammation....  so eye just started taking it as well....  

eye am also focusing on rebuilding the stomach lining....  eye need to find out what vitamins and minerals the stomach uses in the production of the stomach lining....  and start taking them....  eye have not found anything as of yet....  but....  a nutritionist at a grocery store told me....  zinc carnosine is good for the stomach....  that it helps heal the stomach lining....  so eye have started taking it....

this is going to be an evolving process....  as well as an evolving book....  so....  eye will update you as eye get more information....  as eye find out more ways to heal chronic gastritis....

the gastritis has evolved....  now eye have pernicious anemia....  hypochrorhydria....  and carcinoid tumors in my stomach....  although eye am sure that the healing process for these ailments will be connected and similar to healing atrophic gastritis....  eye am going to cover their healing processes for each of these ailments in other chapters....
