mitochondrial dysfunction....

when eye started this process....  eye had significant mitochondrial dysfunction....  eye had biological markers that were very high and low....  indicating that there was a serious dysfunction....  the test that eye took....  called the metabolomix....  rates the need for support from one to ten....  with a ten meaning that you need the most support....  my need for support was at a seven in the beginning....

the table below shows the markers that were high or low....  indicating my need for mitochondrial support....   it also shows my current levels....  showing the improvements that eye have made....  in just one year....  as you can see....  eye have made significant improvements in just one year....  my suberic acid levels are still high....  and....  although most of the markers are in the normal range....  many of them are high normal....  eye intend on bringing them down to the mid-normal range or lower....  eye will be doing another metabolomix test in six months....

mitochondrial dysfunction
 marker levels cause 6/28/23 8/25/24
methylmalonic acid vitamin b-12 deficiency  high (extremely) normal (high)
glutaric acid vitamin b-2 deficiency   high normal (high)
citric acid low iron and glutathione from oxidative stress  high (extremely)  normal
isociteric acid low iron and glutathione from oxidative stress high  normal (high)
alpha-ketoglutaric acid b1, b2, b3, b5 or alpha lipoic acid deficiency   low normal
succinic acid toxic chemical exposure   high (extremely) normal
malic acid niacin and coq10 deficiency   high (extremely) normal (high)
suberic acid carnitine or b2 deficiency  high  high

as you can see....  the cause of most of these imbalances....  is nutrient deficiency....  and....  some type of toxic exposure....  the mitochondria need several vitamins and minerals to function properly....

the mitochondria need vitamins b-1 and b-2 and b-3 and b-5 and b-12 to function properly....

the mitochondria also need iron and copper and zinc and selenium and magnesium and manganese to function properly....

the mitochondria also need other nutrients....  such as glutathione and alpha lipoic acid and carnitine and creatine and coqten and pyrroloquinoline quinone to function properly....
