magnesium....
so.... the test that eye took six months ago.... also showed that my magnesium levels are ver low.... so eye started taking magnesium citrate.... we will see.... did it help.... we will see if it did.... when eye get the results of the new test.... in the next week or two....
eye got a lot of magnesium advice in the last few days.... someone suggested magnesium citrate.... because it helps keep the system flowing.... if you know what eye mean.... it keeps the stools flowing.... interesting.... but the reason is.... because some if it is not digested.... because some of it is not absorbed into the body.... it pulls water into the colon.... loosening the stool....
then today.... someone suggested magnesium threonate.... for sleep.... eye rarely take advice without doing my research.... so eye looked up magnesium threonate online.... and yes.... it does help with sleep.... but the article that eye read said that magnesium glycinate and citrate are actually better for sleep....
so then eye went to one of my favorite grocery stores for advice.... eye have two favorite grocery stores.... one.... offers really good advice on supplements.... most of the time.... so eye went there.... and eye talked to someone about magnesium.... eye asked if magnesium threonate is the best for sleep.... she said.... that it is the best for mental clarity.... because it is the only one that crosses the blood brain barrier.... but she said that magnesium glycinate is the best for sleep.... because it relaxes the nervous system.... so.... eye asked her which one is best for the mitochondria.... because eye am not getting enough magnesium into my cells for the mitochondria to function optimally.... she said that magnesium glycinate would also be the best to be absorbed by the cells as well....
so.... my strategy.... is to wait for the result from my most recent test.... and see if eye am absorbing more magnesium.... to see if the magnesium citrate supplement that eye have been taking.... has been getting into the cells.... and then decide what to do.... if the magnesium is getting into the cells.... eye might stick with magnesium citrate.... if not.... eye might switch to magnesium glutanate.... eye think.... for now.... eye will not use magnesium threonate.... because increasing my brain function is low on my list right now.... sleep.... and.... mitochondrial function.... are at the top of my list right now....
hmmm.... so.... eye just found out that magnesium threonate might help with depression.... one more thing to consider....
